Red Bull stepped outside of their “draft,” but that’s what RedBull does, Think outside the box. And yes, I am Mexican so I’m even more thrilled for this! I think we're in for a great season as I don't believe that Mercedes will be as dominant with McLaren and Red Bull snapping at their heels and maybe another two teams that have the potential to score podiums and possibly wins, exactly what F1 needs, but will we get it this season?

Interesting comparison with what Max said elsewhere about the Bahrain test. Max was of the opinion that one and a half days was plenty and that a four day test was too long as all you did was go round in circles. Checo is clearly of the opinion that one and a half days is cutting it very fine and would prefer longer in the car. Part of this is clearly down to Checo being with a new car/team and having a lot to learn to get up to speed but I also think it highlights a difference in attitude and why having Checo around will help Red Bull. I believe that Max is one of those drivers that can drive any car, good or bad, really quickly. I have heard of this happening before in motorcycling where a rider (I forget who) was so brilliant that he won every race with a badly set up bike. One day his engineer got fed up with the poor feedback and decided to take it out himself, only to find that it was, for all intents and purposes un-ridable, ill handling and possibly dangerous. It was the brilliance of the rider who could literally take any old rubbish and not only ride it but make it win. He had no idea about setting it up, he just jumped on and went. I do wonder if Max is a bit like that.
